As a general practitioner, Joe helps his clients with retirement and estate planning, as well as charitable and education planning, leaving no stone unturned in guiding his clients’ financial strategy. Joe received his designation as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ from the College for Financial Planning.
Growing up in Manchester, Connecticut as the son of an entrepreneur, Joe has always had an interest in the financial industry. He got his start at Ameriprise Financial.
Joe decided to branch out with his own firm. He began JT Covill Investment Advisory, and along the way brought on several colleagues. Later becoming CT Financial Partners, the firm has grown significantly under Joe’s direction, expanding across Connecticut as a cutting-edge firm in the industry.
Joe also enjoys paying it forward in his community. He works with Food Share several times a year helping families in need, as well as with the Charter Oak Cultural Center promoting the arts to children in the inner cities.
In his free time, Joe enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. He is happily married to his wife, Brittany, and is the proud father to his daughters Charlotte and Clara, and is the pet parent to his dog Coco. They reside in Manchester.
His interpersonal skills and broad experience instills confidence with his clientele, and recently earned him several awards, including 2019 Forbes Best-In-State Next Gen Advisors Award*. He was also listed as one of Forbes 2018 Next Generation Wealth Advisors*.
