Passionate about finding solutions for her clients, Kristen Kania enjoys success as a financial advisor with CT Financial Partners. She started her journey into the world of finance by attending and graduating from Sonoma State University in 2005, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics. Inheriting her father’s propensity for numbers and her mother’s teaching ability, Kristen was a natural fit as a financial advisor.
Right after college she started working for Ameriprise Financial, one of the top Fortune 500 companies with a 120-year legacy. Kristen had the knowledge, the ability to communicate that knowledge, and the passion that it took to succeed.
After 12 years with Ameriprise, Kristen felt it was time to enter a new chapter of independence by being part of a smaller yet still successful firm, and that’s when she joined CT Financial Partners. Her welcoming hospitality is a good fit with the firm and stems from her close-knit family roots. This hospitality extends to her clients by providing the exceptional service and advice she would give her own family. The ability to find simplicity in what is deemed complicated is the sign of a good educator.
Kristen assists clients with their retirement and estate planning, as well as charitable and education planning. She holds several certifications, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®).
She believes in paying it forward to those who are less fortunate. Since 2009, she has been volunteering her time to the American Cancer Society in their Road to Recovery Program by providing rides to patients to and from cancer treatments. Kristen also serves as a board member for Andover, Hebron and Marlborough (AHM) Youth and Family Services.
When she isn’t busy helping clients achieve their financial goals, Kristen enjoys skiing, golfing, yoga, and most of all, spending time with her family.
