Melissa Gran brings over 16 years of experience in banking and finance to her role as the client associate for CT Financial Partners. Working directly with Michael Bartolotta and Bob Turbidy, her success in building relationships and navigating the often challenging waters of the financial business has helped the firm since she joined in 2019.
Her expertise stems from her previous roles as a branch manager and small business lender with TD Bank and PeoplesBank in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Whether she’s assisting a client, or publishing the firm’s news updates on the company website, being a part of a team and helping others achieve their financial goals is a driving force for Melissa, and motivates her to do her best every single day.
Community service is near and dear to Melissa’s heart, and she dedicates her free time to helping others. Inspired by a former mentor, she uses her service as a guiding force to be a better employee. She recently served as the chair of the School Governance Council for Breakthrough Magnet School South in Hartford, and currently works with local community organizations with efforts to build stronger, healthier, greener communities in the city of Hartford through horticulture.
She has served on several boards and has provided financial literacy workshops for organizations, including Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation, Business for Downtown Hartford, Knox Parks, the Rocky Hill Chamber of Commerce, YWCA of Greater Hartford, and various schools in Greater Hartford.
